Another Motel

Still in Illinois, different Motel 6. This one has a refrigerator, microwave and widescreen TV. Watching Supernatural on it was awesome. Except the two times when the picture went out because the satellite dish had to get a signal. Arrgh

I was at the allergist's office on Wednesday for my shot. While waiting I leafed through some magazine that had an article about the over-the-counter cold/allergy medicines that replaced the ones that are used to make crack and read that they only work 10% better than placebo when testing. No wonder they didn't do a damn thing for me. When I need cold medicine, I go to Walmart's pharmacy and ask for their Equate version of Sudafed (pseudophredrine hydrochloride).

As for not sleeping much, I'm with you on that score. I was up 'til 2 last night doing laundry (due to my own stupidity, I saved the thing I needed most until the second-to-last load. The last load was stuff I don't really need, but by then I had to stay up to get the stuff I do need out of the dryer...)

Ahhh. Yes, I tried that stuff when it first came out & it didn't work for me either.

When I need cold medicine, I go to Walmart's pharmacy and ask for their Equate version of Sudafed (pseudophredrine hydrochloride).

That's what I got this time, too. Usually I go to Target & get their generic version, but Wal-Mart is closer to where I am right now. The generics are much cheaper.

Since I was wide awake the other night, I should have done laundry as well. But I thought for sure I'd get some actual sleep. I was just too wired from all the drugs I took. I ended up getting quite a bit of sleep last night, though.
