It does work; the ads just expanded or extended out of the header and footer boxes on a horizontal setting and I didn't like it. I'm fairly sure it works on a vertical setting. I will probably end up coding the comment page at a later date, so there would actually be a reason to use Plus (besides userpics and whatnot).

More power to those who use Ad-Block, though. ;)

Haha, I'm completely the same. I don't have a paid account but can't survive with six userpics, so I use Ad-Block to save my own eyes the pain. I still use the 'Between Entries' placement whenever I can, though, so that it's more unobtrusive.
