Qi Pao is airing tomorrow! However much I make fun of Mart's acting, I must admit to being partial to his dimpled charm which he should be putting to good use as the cold (read: expressionless) p'ek. No worries about Ann obviously and I like the murder/mystery/supernatural plot but I'm just an itty bitty concern about the execution since I belong ( Read more... )

Good radar you got here, I'm curious to see Yah Leum Chan as well. Despite the strange synopsis, it worked quite well in the original lakorn with Ann S. and Pete. I like me some old flames :) I'll be checking out QP soon.
I cannot believe it's already Nov! Not looking forward to my busy season, which means less time to indulge in lakorns. At any rate dearie, happy lakorn watching! -Fia

Oh, I didn't know Khun Samee Karmalor Tee Ruk would be out so soon. Yeah, I'm a little vague on the plot details myself, but apparently Chompoo is a runaway bride who bumps into Rome and I think they have a fake relationship or something? Looking forward to seeing them together again.

You didn't like Tik in Roy Leh Sanae Rai? Or maybe you didn't watch that one? It's a classic really, and just about 100% of my love of Tik comes from that lakorn. Both Ann and Tik are charming as heck, Ann brings out the best in her co stars, so I'm eager for their pairing. Tik's not the best actor, but he oozes charm.

I'm not that fond of the murder/mystery/supernatural plot that you are, just because I've yet to see it executed well in lakorns, but I'll give Qi Pao a shot for Ann.

Ploy? Hmm. Haven't watched a lakorn of hers completely yet.

True. *thinks of Pang Sanaeha* Ann brought her A game on in the first episode already and I liked what I saw so far but I'll reserve my further judgement till later episodes since Roy Mai also died for me in the later half.

Ploy has a strong personality and style so I think she's the love-her-or-hate-her kind of actress. If you ever feel like watching her dramas, I'd recommend 'Phoo Yai Lee Gab Nang Ma', a city girl meets country boy story.

I've not watched Roy Leh Sanae. Perhaps I'll check it out someday!
