Rome teams up with Susie in 'Mook Liam Petch' and I have no idea what's the story about except that it's an action lakorn. Heck, I don't even know what the title means. Rome's past couple of lakorns hadn't worked for me (I won't count Mia Taeng since I only read the recaps) but maybe third time's the charm. Though 'Plerng See Roong' was wrong on so

The Thai entertainment industry is pretty fickle, perhaps like a lot of entertainment industries out there. If you're not at the top of your game like Ann T, Noon, Aum P, Janie T etc, who has been acting for over a decade, you will be waylaid by the younger and prettier n'eks, whether they are more talented or not.. Unfortunately, I don't think Vicky will be playing another leading role. I sort of like her as a side kick, like in Jai Rao. But, she is absolutely gorgeous though.. Oh, I fear Benz P. is heading towards that direction too.

I haven't seen a Rome lakorn yet (I know.. I'm slow and behind on lakorn viewings, I took a very long break) I may watch his lakorn with Yaya though, just to see how he is- acting wise. Care to chime in?

And the muscle picture you got there, I'm wondering also what it has to do with the new lakorn but then.. that is not entirely the point, right? hehe.. -Fia

I didn't know Vicky played a supporting role in Jai Rao! Vicky is pretty and I like her vibe but like you said, it's a tough world out there with young fresh faces coming out all the time.
I think Rome is a decent actor but the stuff I've seen him in don't attract me, as oppose to Mart who can't act but I like the lakorns he's in. Haaa, unfair world indeed. I've blogged about the Rome/Yaya lakorn so maybe you can check out the 'rose without thorns' tag and see if you're interested. Rome's recent lakorn with Chompoo 'Mia Taeng' appears to be a hit but judging from the recaps I think I'll hate Rome in it so not planning on watching.

I feel so technologically challenged. Um.. I tried looking for the search button and live journal is outsmarting me. In short, the only way I can figure out to find your rose without thorns tag is well, to look through all of your old entries, lol. Help please?

What do you think about Yaya? I've only seen one of her lakorns: Duangjai Akkanee and I thought she was cute- but it was a cute movie and she had great chemistry with Nadech. However, I don't think it was too much of a challenging role. They are a really hot couple in Thailand right now, and their upcoming lakorn Game Ruk Game Rai is highly awaited. I can feel the buzz everywhere..

I did like Yaya in 'Rose without Thorns' and I think her acting is pretty natural for a newbie. I tried watching Duangjai Akkanee because of all the hype over Nadech/Yaya but the first episode didn't interest me enough to continue. Should I give it another shot?
