Aum is doing another period lakorn now, called 'Khun Seuk' with Ploy finally as his n'ek. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is their 4th lakorn together. They were siblings-in-law in 'Bodtan Gleep Sudtai', Ploy was the evil n'rai breaking Aum up with Aff in 'Namtan Mai and in the now airing (?) 'Pim Mala' they are the same person!

I've become more of a fan of Aum since watching him in Borisat Bambad Kaen with Ann. I watched some of Roy Mai, and I don't know, I think I'm becoming allergic to Aff's acting. When I look at her, I can almost see her thinking, gosh, how should I act in this scene or struggle to portray some emotion, any emotion. I also don't like Aum's hairstyle in it either.

LOL. I totally get your comments on Aff's acting. So far in Roy Mai, she has managed to touch me in a few scenes but overall her acting is still too surface and it's even more obvious when I compare her to Cherry, whose lakorns I've been watching these days. But it helps that Aum is her p'ek here because I enjoy watching them together and Aum supports her with his acting.

For the first time I don't agree. I think Aff acting is really good here. I am not a fan of her acting usually and I don't know if this because of the way the characters are written but I can't see another actress besides her portraying Maneerin and Rerin. I didn't liked her in Wanida and JLR but here this is different. I cab feel for her and her crying skills sure improved.

I think Aff is good as Maneerin but personally I feel that Aff can't really bring across Rerin's distress and internal conflict.
Anyhow, drama watching is a subjective thing and I'm happy to hear your views. :)

I wanted to add is she even manage to act Maneerin commanding and spoiled atitude subtletly. Other actresses would have been too agressiv.
