Summary: AU. Dongwoo always believed that he didn't understand the world. In reality, it was the world that didn't understand him.

I feel like there's a distinct innocence to Dongwoo in this chapter that's a bit...too emphasized? But because this is only the first chapter, there could be a specific reason for the heavy emphasis that I'm not aware of.
But other than that, I'm very excited for what you have planned with this story! Dongwoo/Jinyoung is my favorite pairing and I greatly enjoy sci-fi themed AUs. This fandom also lacks dark fics, so I look forward to your following installments :)

I don't mind any type of feedback, really. At this point it's kind of early to get in-depth feedback on plot, character, etc. I haven't gone into Dongwoo's backstory (ie. how he ended up in the attic) or even brought Jinyoung in!
I understand what you mean by Dongwoo's innocence being a bit too emphasised. I kind of wanted people to notice that I guess? I guess I underestimate the attention span of readers hahaha. I'll try to improve on that in the following chapters.

I had mixed feelings when reading chapter 1, it was fairly dark with Dongwoo being a homeless guy (I guess?) welps, I'm achingly curious about his past mzxvbzxcnvb
And omg those mean people ):
He let his hair grew long since he had no money, boy, he was a fashionista by nature then what is this I don't even-
........I almost shed a tear when those mean people robbed his savings I.......
He opened his mouth in protest, but all that came out of it were pathetic whines

Idk what's your plan about Dongwoo's characterization... but I think he's too innocent?
He would have shared his food with them if they asked
this line though, kind of bothers me? It sounds too kind, so unreal.
But, omg they way you described his condition,
as he hadn’t eaten in two days since he only ate every three days to save what little food he had. Furthermore, his joints were frozen since he had sat in the cold for hours on end, ( ... )

If you're asking if he's mute, don't worry, he isn't, heh. I kinda have a half plan but I don't know how it'll turn out OTL
He's meant to be kinda unreal to add to the contrast? I kinda did it on purpose but I'll try to make it a little more believable in the following chapters~ :)
The reason why I didn't add those 3 people in is because I didn't plan for them to show up until much later in the fic! So I was thinking that if I wanted to read something with Sunwoo, for example, I wouldn't want to pick this up and get disappointed that he wasn't there yet >: I have great things planned for them. JK DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING FROM ME PLZ
