My computer died last night. I turned it off, and then it wouldn't boot up again. Spent forever letting it sit, hoping that it would come back up, but to no avail. So, I trudged to bed at about 3am, hoping that it would be behaving by the morning. Naturally, I can't get to sleep right away, as I'm currently sharing a bunk bed with my little sister ( Read more... )

I hope things go OK with your computer! Nothing's worse than computer problems. Not only the hassle of not having a computer readily available, but, if you're anything like me, you'll start feeling guilty b/c not having a computer reminds you of just how much time you spend doing computer-related things. Not a good feeling. LOL

Good luck with the house guests!!

Thanks Tex! I wonder what's wrong with it . . . *sigh* 'Cuz it did the same thing again today. Maybe I should start turning it off properly rather than just pushing the power button. :P I've just been doing that rather than actually shutting everything down because it's easier. I just have the thing on all the time--I'm not neccesarily doing somethng on it while it's on, though.

Thanks! The only good thing about a messy room is that it can't accomodate guests on short notice, so I got to sleep in my own bed. ^_^ My littlest cousin was driving me crazy, though.
