*shrug* I grew up exposed to religion but not really immersed in one, yet I do believe that, on occassion, good things can just happen. I more firmly believe in creating one's own luck. You do have to approach things assuming that you will be successful, and by putting yourself out there you can become involved in situations that may very well work towards a lucky turn of events some day. But if you just sit around and don't go out looking, then of course you won't be very lucky.

Ben Franklin once said “I'm a strong believer in luck. I find the harder I work, the luckier I get.”

But I'm still having trouble approaching things and believing I'll succeed.. I just feel crippled.
