It's only technically halfway through summer, but it feels like it's much further. I thought I wouldn't get tired of it until later in the month, but maybe the excess heat we've been getting is making it harder

Hm, where do you take your bags of clippings after you fill them up? Alan and I have got about six or seven now over the course of the summer. It seems silly and annoying to hang onto them until the one Saturday in November when the city will pick them up, but I can't forget my environmentalism and put them out with the weekly trash.
The Department of Public Works has drop off locations, and at least the one nearest me (East End) has Saturday hours. Free for city residents, if you are carrying stuff in a vehicle that is smaller than a van/pickup. I think I've fit 6 bags in my car, and Xuth and I once biked about 100 lbs there.
Ah right, those places. It's good to know about the Saturday hours, since I think the weekday hours are terribly short/early. I do remember trying to go to the East End location and it being totally shut up at like 4 p.m.
Yeah, weekday hours are like 8-2p. I don't remember what Saturday hours are exactly, since I have to call to get them and I never remember to write it down, but I just make sure to get there before noon and have never had a problem.
