That's just vile. You'd think such an influential paper such as the NY Times would have more sense than to publish something like that.

I signed. Rape is an ugly thing and I am so disgusted that people don't seem to realize how serious it is. The physical pain might go away, but the psychological trauma will last a lifetime. Rape is not a joke and it's certainly not this girl's fault what happened to her.
