i asked kelli what she thought of putting blitz & beej together. she thinks it's a great idea and that blitz would soon sort beejay out. haha ( Read more... )

Oh im going to go look at an agistment centre in Wattle grove that is $45 a week (more if u want rugs changed - nt sure how much there though). Plus feeds, they feed morning and night, you prepare the feeds.
Horses are in 1 1/2 acre paddocks - 2 horses per paddock.

Also new place opening on Great Northern Hwy call Shannon on 0408638552 for any more information. Their part board starts at $50 a week.

Wattle Grove is 15 mins from me - South down Tonkin Hwy.
And the place on Gt Northern is next to or a few houses down from Brigadoon Produce

After all our stress with the side of the school at our yard, Joe showing Zorro that it was safe seemed to be all he needed to mellow out completely. The wisdom of older horses can be quite a big help.

Here in the states, where I am in the northeast, the stables I like the best are often also the cheapest. The expensive stables are the ones with separate turnout, with the horses in stalls if there's even a slight chance it will be too hot, too cold, to wet, too windy. Every horse LIVES in summer blankets, winter blankets, tail wraps, neck covers, etc. the turnout is tiny, but they usually have indoor arenas ( ... )
