Its really neat to see continuing pictures of your work with Beejay along with videos. I can see you guys making progress and getting there. With your posting trot what I see more than anything is a lack of strength...and more riding more regularly will help with that. Being sadly out of shape and coming back to posting trot myself, I've decided its actually easier to rise too much, and takes MORE strength to rise softly and not too high. Ugggh ( ... )

i like the pics down below better than the video. honestly i think your saddle does not fit you. doesn't look like it fit carly eiter. i would say you need to go up at least a seat size and then the seat will be better and you can sit better and your leg will lay better. keep in mind tho this is coming from someone whose saddle fits terribly and yet refuses to give it up. :P

and we simply must hear about this student teacher! i want details! :D

unfortunately, that saddle is an 18 inch, so i have to slim DOWN rather than go up a seat size. it's happening, but slowly.

nice piccies! looks like he was working really well in spots. I wouldnt say your upper body is 'flailing', - your upper body is ok, there is just very little elasticity and bend from your shoulder to your wrists, making things look/seem worse than they are. much more bend in your elbows and thinking 'im a big elastic bungey cord', or something to that effect, should work :)

but yeah, he does work well in spots so we have to try and make it more consistent.
