It sucks so much that this country has a huge effect on the rest of the world's economy. I really feel bad for the countries like Australia that are now going to suffer because the big American money companies fucked up. I don't understand how the US is going to get out of this, though. Spending is what fuels the economy, but every day more and more people are being laid off, and they are not about to go spend a lot of money on frivolous stuff if they have no income, so profit goes down for companies, which makes them lay off more people and/or go out of business, and the cycle continues. I really don't see how this is going to get fixed.
