it's 2 am so you can definitely tell i'm on holidays.

i've been sifting thru the entries in my old journal. WOW i used to write a LOT - and MEANINGful stuff, not just ponies.

i guess that's an indicator of something really.

Heh heh, I am awake too. Did you get my LJ message reply? If we are going to Freo, it's not going to be til after noon if either of us want any decent amount of sleep, lol! Bleh, I'm not sure the markets are worth the heat. I can go again next week if it is cooler on Fri-Sun (and we are not down south). But we should still go on Monday or Tuesday when it is under 30C, methinks.

Yeah, the process of backing up my LJ turned into me reading old entries too. And its funny because some of my old entries are probably written better than what I write now, but because my journal was new there were *no* comments on it for like, the first year. But it was interesting to go back and see how my attitudes have changed over time. I think as my financial situation has improved some, I've stopped being so incredibly thankful for each moment with my horse, or piece of equipment we have. It was also interesting to see that a lot of what I do with my horse now I did *better* back then...2 or 3 years ago! I had his attention more. Definitely a sign of how my health issues and his lameness have been a struggle. Its so much harder to keep him occupied and interested when his body isn't sound!

Anyhow, I find it interesting that you think your older entries were more meaningful too...

And...I also think in some ways I just charged ahead with Parelli and did everything I could figure out how to do...then I got the dvd's and lost the ability to watch the tv shows (which are more creative and not as structured) and I think I started to feel more boxed in to Level 1. I think it sent me...backwards. Hummm.
