something disastrous has happened to the web thingie where i uploaded all my photos (via cute ftp) from the past 5 years. you'll notice that if you comment on one of my posts, the pic of blitz in the background is missing & you just have white now? additionally, a whole bunch of the pics in my Profile page are now red x's

God, I have no idea! I want to customize my layout since I just got a paid account, but don't really have any clue where to start!

Do you know if you are using S1 or S2? (Style 1 or 2) All I know is that I have S1 (the old system) and to customize mine, I go to the Journal dropdown menu and click Customize Journal Style, then scroll right to the bottom, as my background image code is in the overrides box and I have to change the it manually.

If all else fails, from that page you can select a pre-made theme, probably.
