How awesome you're feeling confident enough to ride him out like that and work through his anxieties. Judging from your LJ recently, it seems you've been riding a lot more, and so updating far less cuz you've been too busy riding. (That's what happens to me too!) That is just wonderful! From the little bits you've written it sounds like you're really enjoying your riding instructor too.

Lemon scented gum trees. Wow. That sounds heavenly...nothing like that around here.

Happy early birthday. That must make you a gemini? You and me both...and I can't believe I'll be one year away from 30 either. :P

the lemon scented trees are AMAZING. honestly, if i could bottle it, i would. it is one of THE BEST things in the world. in fact, all eucalypts here smell great. especially this time of year cos it's autumn & we've had such a long, hot, dry summer & there's that rainy sort of smell in the air & it's just divine.

i definitely have been riding a lot more & not updating as much. i love LJ but i love my pony more!

I am so pleased to see that you are taking the big red machine out on rides, it is a great way to really establish Beej's trust in you.

*sigh* so jealous I love that ride to the lake!
Hmmmm may have to think aobut hiring a float to come up to you and go out for a ride what do you think?

That's just awesome that you guys are going on trail rides and staying in control-I'm still too nervous to go too far away from my barn with Deli by myself.
