Cute!!

Can you explain what exactly it is you're doing when you kinda lean over and shake the lunge line and hit the whip on the ground, and what response you're looking for? I've never really seen that done before, so I'm curious:)

o god, i didn't expect you to look at that? it wasn't working when i did it?????? GODDAMN photobucket.

that's the 'engage'. i'm shaking the line to indicate 'stop' (you have different phases and you can see they're quite high because he's not paying a very large amt of attention, especially in the 2nd one). i lean over & look right at his hind quarters & he moves away from them (turn on the fore-ish) and faces up to me. i tap the ground to assist my eyes - helps drive him away. he is normally a LOT more responsive & i'm not so sluggish - it was at the end of a session & the girl i was with kinda wanted us to do more & i was buggered.

i had to combine all 3 to get him to listen because we were both tired. usually he's pretty responsive & will engage just from a look or a very slight rope wiggling.

Ah I see!! Makes more sense now! I had thought that it was something along those lines, so the first time you did it was to make him change direction?
