YES AND I LOVE IT.

i haven't sat down & listened to it on repeat tho (hrm, how different to when i was a bloody child!) so don't know the songs very well.

I used to do that too. I try the best I can to get to know new albums well, but I no longer obsess like I once did.

Still, I like to think the best I can is good enough.

Talk Show Host was indeed their finest moment. Also the Bends by far the greatest album for me. I liked them when they still had tunes. Maybe that is back a little bit with In Rainbows?

oh i'm glad you think that about TSH. it's such a truly great, UNDERRATED song. it was only a b-side, if i'm correct.

and yes, The Bends was their best work. OKC was amazing and i listened to it on repeat for a very long time, but after that i barely listened to their other albums. i think i've got Kid A and Hail To The Thief somewhere in my cd's.... but that indicates how often i've listened to it.

Weren't we all Radiohead bonkers?? I think The Bends was the best. I loved OK Computer, too, but The Bends has a timeless quality to me, and I think it holds up better as an album (plus Street Spirit is an amazing song to end an album on, OK Computer sort of petered out in my opinion). Anyway, I tried really hard to like Kid A, but only came away liking Idioteque and How To Disappear Completely. Then Amnesiac totally killed it for me. I am like a jilted lover, people tell me how good their latest album is and I fume because I think their stuff has been horrible for years. I feel like somewhere along the way they lost the passion for making GOOD music and gained this obsession with being experimental and a little dull. Plus Thom doesn't sing like he used to :( Those highs and lows are gone, now he just moans.

Anyway, hi and stuff! I am sorry I am so crap :( It's really good to see (read) you again. I am glad Blitzen is well, and BJ looks gorgeous! I hope YO are well, too.
