Today at work I hit the new low of rewarding a child with a sticker (an awesome, shiny holographic sticker. I must have the best) for the accomplishment of being the only child in his group who managed not to fall backwards off his chair during a 20 min session ( Read more... )

You're not alone. Everyone at work LOL'd at me too.

So long as you're not the person who hears *thump* everytime you turn to write on the board! And worries about head injuries aside I would have laughed aswell

To be fair these kids are all special needs and usually I have more patience. But by the age of 7 I kind of expect them to have mastered 'sitting'.
