OK, about 6 hours ago I was ready to give up on fanfiction altogether. Thanks to this fic, I've dismissed that idea completely.

You. Are. Win. It has to be said.

(P.S. It's the University of Dayton, not Dayton University.)

Oh, I'm really loving this. Castiel is such a wonderful straight man and Dean is just all kinds of right crazy. And I liked the comment from Castiel that when he tried to have sex with a human, they run away. It's getting aggravating. LOL. Just lost it there. Very good story. Thank you.

SPN totally makes blasphemy the funniest thing ever. I'm loving this. I also love that they're in Ohio and that they've turned into the cutest most normal couple ever. And that Dean was a "case" XD!

The thing about Sodom and Gomorrah is, the Bible never actually says what their sin was. The idea that the sin was homosexual acts actually dates to Christians after Jesus. The way the story is told, taking into account the surrounding story, ancient Hebrew ethics, the parallel story in Judges 19, and other references to the story in the Bible, the sin we are supposed to see is inhospitality ( ... )

May I just take a moment to say that this is the most informative thing I have ever read about Sodom and Gomorrah in my entire life. Thank you very much.

This is like, literally the greatest comment ever. I am going to take a screen shot and save it to my computer so I have it readily available when ignorant idjits try to argue with me about this. Bless you.

You're welcome! I'm so glad to be helpful.

For more information, here is a good resource. The Bishop of the Oregon Synod of the ELCA did a Bible study on the issue called "Hope, Homosexuality, and Hospitality." It's available online here: http://www.oregonsynod.org/bookoffaith/hhh/index.html
