First, the obligatory stats: I've an HP iPAQ Glisten phone with Windows Mobile 6.5 and MobileSpeak 4.5.2.

Now, to my question...

How, exactly, do I mut the ringer on this phone so I can hear my caller ID being read by MobileSpeak? The MS manual simply doesn't make sense to me on this point (Spanish to English translation?).

I can't seem to find a shortcut MobileSpeak command (either via touch or via the keyboard) to activate soft keys.

Anyone know how to do this?

Anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of accessible (or at least, reasonably accessibl) apps for smartphones?

Right now, in particular, I am looking for an accessible weather app that will display accessible information right on my home screen.

(I am using an HP Glisten with MobileSpeak 4.5.2 and Windows Mobile 6.5.)

I cannot seem to increase or decrease the speech rate on my phone.

I am using an HP Glisten with Windows Mobile 6.5 and MobileSpeak installed purchased from AT&T's disability center.

When I hit my Command Key + either the left or right arrow key, I hear "Rate " ("Rate 1" "Rate 2" etc. etc.), but I never hear the actual speech rate ( Read more... )

Is this an accessibility issue? I have been unable to click the link to edit my basic information. I tried a couple of months ago on IE and Firefox, and contacted someone from LJ who was unable to help me. Has anyone here been on zyprexa? I was on it 2 years ago in treatment and when I left there they took me off of it. My new psychiatrist put me back on it this week. It's already helping a lot, I'm less anxious and nervous and I can even sit down and do homework now.

I don't like the fact that I know it's going to make me gain weight ... Ad I feel ( Read more... )
