I really enjoyed reading your thoughts and have to be dull and say I agree with you! There seems to be a lot of hate and bashing going on for this episode and it saddens me that is happening. I really enjoyed the episode, it was a shame it couldn't have more on Martha and Jackie (who, for such important characters at one point, were pitifully shoved into the background), so thanks from me for... well, feeling the same way!

I'm one of the people who didn't particularly like the episode, maybe because I'd been expecting too much and reading too many speculations. I'm not going to bash it though, I mean it's a matter of taste. What's interesting is that most of the points you've picked as your favourites are the moments in it that I *did* like, and though overall I wasn't that keen, I do agree with you for the most part. I hadn't really given Mickey and Martha in Torchwood much thought, too busy thinking about everything else in the ep, but that's a fair point. I was gutted with the last ep of Torchwood and liked them as a team together, so don't know how it'll work with other people there. Still, just have to wait and see.

I couldn't understand why some of the reviews I read had such an intense dislike. Ok granted I came into the sereies a little late but I got the gist of every character up there and how they came about and left.

I enjoyed the entire episode, and yes even got wet eyes when I realized what he needed to do to keep Donna alive so to speak.

My heart was soaring and than dropping through out this episode. I think I am still in some state of shock as I got nothing more than bable to offer, lol.
