I know I don't update much but I was bored and decided to do a quick google search to try and find out how much students pay to get into a fraternity or sorority.
I found out that at the University of Alabama, students can expect to pay around 2,600 bucks to join a frat, which seems to me, to be a bit pricey, I mean ultimatly its a title you gain,

I thought you had to make this post even more disheartening. Besides joining for 2600 you also have a hundred added costs. Not just the regular boozing parties and whatnot. There are so many events and things you have to pay for (especially the really elaborate ones for charity) that you could probably double that payment per year.

All of this research was done from a single page of a single college's website, if I really wanted too I am sure I could tack another 10 million onto that number per semester. So gross.

The money goes to the house the members live in, pledge/new member fee, and an initiation fee. And a lot of it goes to the National Headquarters of each group. So Gay.

And yes, my hair is super long now. With a full beard to boot.

But yea------- it goes to headquarters but what does headquarters do with that much money...

I mean they could do A LOT with that money-------

I want to know where it goes...

Darn.

Makes me want to join one just so I can find out whats really going on behind the scenes....

but that would mean I would have to give money to that "cause"...and that seems very much NOT worth it
