Iggy is, well, lonely. And he would like very much to hear his friends again, which is why he's managed to find a rather high spot. He's standing on the railing of a balcony, coat wrapped tightly around him, with his eyes closed and his head cocked to one side as he listens.

The wind. Distant bird calls but none that he knows. The sounds of water

Quinn is busy arranging the contents of his shoulder pack to really notice anyone else around him but when he walks onto the balcony he looks up to see a boy waiting it actually surprises him. He tugs on the trench coat to make sure that his arm is covered properly.

"Are you alright?" he asks after a moment, surprised by his concern.

Iggy jumped at the voice, though he'd managed to keep his balance and frowned. "Uh, yeah. Sorry. Am I bothering you?" He kept his back to the stranger, tugging his own coat tighter.

Quinn shook his head. "It's a public place," he said with a shrug.

"Oh. Good." He couldn't just get down and walk off now, since he hadn't exactly come in through the front door. And jumping from the balcony would be ... bad. "What are you doing up here?"

[OOC: Delicious. Just wanted to point out that you're better off making open posts to the com - I'm not sure how many of us actually check the flist atm. Or you can always make a post in the OOC com to point peoples to it too. ^^]

[It's actually an open post for anyone. I try to use things like this to help me work out character voices and such without spamming the comms I'm in. ^^;;; Still canon to me for Carpe, but without my nine-thouseandth post in a row, you know?]

Zhane's been feeling lonely too, actually, even if he's had the luck to be reunited with friends - but that's because he's a bit of the odd man out, even with them.

He wanders out on the balcony, dressed in black and gray (does he ever wear anything else?) and spots the boy with the wings.

His greeing is eloquent.

"Hey."

He hears the guy come up before he actually sets foot on the balcony and he brings his wings in even tighter. Not like they're inconspicuous, but ...

"Uh. Hi." He's still a bit skittish around strangers.

Zhane doesn't come closer - he realizes that he's making the guy (dude, he's really huge) uncomfortable. "Cold day, huh?"

Totally inane. Way to go, Zhane.

Over six feet with that sixteen foot wingspan? Yeah, Iggy's big.

"A bit. Uh, I'm not in your room or anything, am I?"
