When she went to see the little boy the next day, he was absent - and when she looked - and she did, he was never to be found.

When she spots his familiar silhouette, her heart sinks - and skips with relief.

And her voice is a little bit strangled.

"Iggy?"

The voice makes all the feathers on his wings stand up and he flinches slightly. He can't tell if her voice sounds like that because she's angry or what, but he does turn a bit towards her.

"Um... Hi." His cheeks are burning and he looks more than a little frightened.

She'll close the distance, come to him with just a bit of hesitation in her step.

"I -- I looked all over for you. Are you alright?"

Shifting his wings again, he turns more towards her voice. She didn't sound angry.

"Yeah... I'm really sorry. I thought ... maybe you didn't want to see me after that whole ... weird thing." He's totally humiliated by his actions. It didn't matter that he'd been six at the time. It wasn't fair to be a burden to Phedre like that.
