He's not exactly sure where they could look for such things, but ...
"I think this place might have an attic. We can see what's up there," he says thoughtfully. "I've heard that people keep all kinds of things in attics."
At least, he hoped so. If they found something, they could find out who it belonged to and then maybe borrow them

"My people do not have attics," Nellas points out. But at least she understands the concept and wanders around looking for a trap door or something of the sort in the ceiling. If the attic is up, that's where you'd find one, right?

"Where I'm from, a lot of older houses and places like this have attics or basements." He'd rather not go down below ground so he's hoping it's an attic. "An attic should be up..." He reaches out to trail his fingers over a wall, ondering if there might be a doorway with stairs or something like that.

If so, she will be eager to weasel up, tugging Iggy along behind her. Maybe, Nellas thinks, there will also be wood to work, so she will not have to find any in the forest. That, at any rate, would require drying and a long wait and in turn delay her project of making windscreens, which would be unpleasant in the current weather conditions.
Yes, she is a little hyper.

And this typist hasn't got a clue what could be up there, but there's probably a good chance there is wood and tools and a number of other things, ranging from the very useful to the confusing.
Iggy's used to hyper and he's enjoying it
