[He's there soon enough, walking up to the place the coordinates lead him to cautiously, ready, as always, for something to attack. But he dropped his guard a bit as the other came into view. He looked harmless enough.]

[Jason does indeed look harmless. Just a skinny guy holding a length of broom handle that's been painted white with a red tip. There's some bruising on his face and arms, but it doesn't seem to be bothering him too much. He's got a bag over one shoulder and he smiles when Riku speaks]

It's alright, I wasn't waiting for long. I guess you're Riku?

[He continues checking out the other's injuries, even going so far as to lift a hand to the one by his eye, feeling it gently for under lying problems.]

[Jason starts when the hand touches his face]

[His fingers spread out slowly, before his eyes close, mummering the spell under his breath, the deep green, calming glow flowing outward, healing the visible bruises slowly.]

[Sighs quietly as he feels the cooling feeling cover the bruises. It itches a bit, but nothing that bothers him much. Once he's done he smiles]

Thanks. Don't suppose that'll work on my ribs, will it?

[Jason nods and unbuttons his shirt, showing off more bruising and some bandages that seem to be tightly and neatly wrapped around his ribs]

I can take the bandages off too if you need me to.

[Jason nods and unwraps the bandages, wincing as the pressure holding his ribs still comes off of them. The bruises to his chest and abdomen are much more numerous than the one or two on his face, though the bruises themselves seem to be healing, with a patch on his right side that looks particularly ugly.]

Al said some of the ribs might be cracked, but he couldn't tell for sure without an x-ray.

[His hands press against skin, much more lightly this time, before letting the healing glow seep from them.]

[He tries not to sound pissed off, but the words have a bitter sound to them.]

[He just barely manages not to squirm when his chest starts itching again, one hand opening and closing next to his side]

Sounds like they're the ones with the problem.

[The green glow eases off before he cast the spell again. His healing isn't nearly as strong here in Veles as it is in Adstringendum, and it takes a few more tries before the bruises have faded completely.
