I love the way the same fight they have in the show has been re-intepreted. John's dismay was bad enough, but seeing Amarisa wilt by degrees was so sad. Poor John.

Ouch, ouch, ouch. This line: But apparently, Sherlock and Raniel didn’t quite grasp this, so John and Amarisa were stuck loving a man and his dæmon who thought caring was a mistake. makes my heart break.

LOL so much at Sherlock's disbelief at John's blase attitude to being the target of an entire witch clan. Hee!
