That sounds like a fascinating book. I may have to see about finding a copy.

I find it amazing as I have been studying the Bible to really look at the culture behind what is happening. The more that I understand Jewish customs of the day, the better I understand what is happening and why Jesus was such a revolutionary man. We are so familiar with so many of His teachings that we don't really understand what it meant for him to be saying these things back in those times.

absolutely. We're just missing out so much on how awesome Jesus was during that time. People say He's either a lunatic or the Truth. I still need to read up more on why people think Him a lunatic. :)
