It has been a good semester. The four courses I took turned out to be better than expected.

Jane Austen: never liked her books, but now I understand why she's so popular, and I can see that she really was a fantastic writer. Mansfield Park... how could she have written it so realistically without experiencing it herself?

been a year. I'm about to spend 3 months overseas on a domestic-like holiday and do some volunteering work with schools. Nothing's totally set yet, well, I'll update the journal if anything interesting happens. :)

as for the last note... my relationship with God is back on track in a manner of speaking. I need to find myself a new church, but it's difficult.

I hope you've been doing well and that the end of year will be a joyful one. :D
