My palms sweat all the time these days. They sweat so much and so often that I am, like, getting athlete's foot. On my palms.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

I just saw a great talk on brain stuff not five minutes before I read this. (Actually, before I read the pownce version of this post.) Anyway, it struck me because he mentioned galvanic skin responses to people looking at various things, saying that for normal people, when you see certain things, your palms sweat. Probably not the kind of response you wanted, but... If you get thirty minutes free, you should see the talk. Only the first ten minutes deal with palm sweat, but he's a good enough talker that you'll probably stick around to hear the whole thing.

Maybe I am in a mental place right now where everything is frightening and triggers that kind of response or something? Or where I worry all the time about grad school and shit and so am always in this kind of hyper-aware state? That can't be good for my blood pressure.
