yo mama

With the thought of possible pregnancy and motherhood on the horizon, my mind has been whirling and twirling. Most of you will probably think I'm a whackadoodle. I don't fret about everything I eat or drink when I'm pregnant, granted I'm not out drinking (I don't do that anyway) or eating pounds of mercury filled fish, but if I want Mt. Dew or ( Read more... )

motherhood, gripes

I wound up needing a c-section and I think it was much harder. The recovery is worse and instead of "naturally" stretching a baby out, you are freakin sliced open and then sewn shut! Much worse.

I agree! I mean I didn't have a c-section, I had a v-birth, but I was sooo terrified by the thought of them maybe having to cut me open since I've had two friends that needed emergency c-sections. I'm totally freaked out by the idea of surgery and when I think, "How could you have a c-section?" in regards to women who choose one it's not because I think they're horrible and bad mothers, it's because I'm like, "You do know they CUT YOU OPEN, right?!" :P

I get bashed all the time for not *wanting* children and *knowing* I am too spoiled for them, so I will never, ever bash you. ;) Plus, to each their own. Each life is different and far be it for me to determine how you live yours.

Plus, from where I'm sitting, you're a very real mother who obviously loves her children. Health is good, but you know what? Our health crazy society swings in too many polar opposites, in my opinion.

*hugs* Good luck on the third pregnancy! :D

Hey, I have respect that you are secure enough to know that you don't want children. I wish more people would just make that decision, rather than have them because that's what they think they're supposed to do next.

I have nothing but respect for you and your choices. I don't get why mothers bash each other over these issues. What works for one family may or may not work for another, you know?
