A Novel: The Breath of God

The first book I read this year is Jeffrey Small's The Breath of God: A Novel of Suspense.

My micro-review: it's like a Dan Brown book, but better.

PhD candidate Grant Matthews finds an ancient text describing Issa's journey into India and what he learns from the Hindus and Buddhists.  Issa is Jesus, and the text is an account of his teenage years ( Read more... )

Thanks for this review. I read so much for Potus_geeks that my fiction reading has been a casualty, but this sounds like something I would like. Do you belong to Bookish? This would be a great review to share there.

If you're pressed for time, The Breath of God is easy to read as the chapters are divided into fairly short sections. You can pick it up and put it down as needed.

I'm not a member of bookish - I'll take a look and see if they seem like a good fit for me.
