Hey so im 22 and I am a former self-injurer. I started cutting when I was 14 and have been (almost minus one slip up) self-injury free for 2 years.

If you need to talk let me know and I can try give you tips.
You said you refuse to get help why is that? I know how that feels, I was in denial for a long time about it and kept it mostly secret. Until one day I realized I wasn't in control. I cut myself deeply and the wound didn't close for a few days luckily I didn't need hospitalization. I would have been mortified. Realizing that the more I did it the deeper and more I needed to do to get the same feelings of relief scared me into getting help.

I think that you should think about trying to find other ways to have control and deal with painful things. It takes a long time to change habits, so Im not saying by tomorrow quit cutting! just maybe one day try going for a walk first or something you like doing that usually makes you happy or happier then usual and if you still need to, then you need to.

Anyways. Hope you have a good
