make sure they pay you for any remaining vacation time you haven't used, if this is a lay-off (no idea if you get your vacation time back if it's a fired instead of laid off...). they almost didn't give tod all of his when he was laid off back in the day, until he pointed out that he had almsot twice as much as they thought accrued.

if you want a job in maine, there may be a few at UMA... ;)
