I'm not familiar with +Anima at all, but, regardless of the canon, if a character has animal ears/tail, it just makes me want to punch a baby in the face. Don't get me wrong- I enjoy Tokyo Mew Mew and various anime cat girls, but... when a Mary Sue has random animal parts, it's annoying and the author is clearly doing it to be cutesie and specheul.

As far as the story goes... Wowza. Character profile, check. Spending more time "talking with the characters" than the actual story? Check. RANDOM CAPSLOCK RAGE?! Check. R-r-r-r-r-r-random obnoxious stuttering? Check. Head, meet desk. -.-

Oh, and way to put your DOB in your username, suethor. Really classy. Why don't you also put in your social security number and bank number while you're at it?

+Anima is a Manga that is rated G. I have been staying away from the main base fandom because a lot of the summaries scream "I am a Mary Sue/Gary Stu!". Your surmise that the reason they are doing it is so that their character can be special is in fact true.

The only reason I LIKE profiles is because it makes my life so much easier and I don't have to dig out certain details. Of course, this also means the rating is likely to go up compared to what it normally does.

You mean they put their DOB on their profile and their age in their user name. I don't think it was always like that, when I first reviewed it. Chances are, unless this author grows up a bit, they'll change it to ending in 19 on their birthday. Actually, this would mean the Suethor was sixteen when they started writing this? Maybe they have matured. Chances are very slim though.

They are going to be college bound perchance by the end of this year or the next which may hopefully shake up their world view a bit.

I like character profiles cause it's usually a good indicator of how AWFUL that the story is going to be. And, the more awful it is, the happier I am. (Usually.)

Well, the 1993 is their year of birth, and 18 is their age (I think?)
But, they didn't change the numbers, though.
