Dislikes: Bullies, ignorance, bigotry, stupidity, self-weakness, writer’s block, not having something to be passionate about, isolation, letting down those I hold dear, hurting others, mornings, cynicism, and people who take advantage of other people.
Strong points: I have a very strong sense of justice, am loyal to a fault, and believe in upholding a standard of honor and integrity in my actions. I am very creative and imaginative; I’m very introspective and aware of myself and my feelings. I have a high level of self control. I’m intelligent, and I care about the people I love and want to protect them. I’m also a bleeding heart for others (unless you’ve wronged me) and would not hesitate to sacrifice my dreams or anything else for those I love.
Weak Points: I’m incredibly insecure about myself. I often feel worthless and can sink into deep depressions. While I love most people, I hate those who have hurt me with a passion. I have a violent temper, but often regret the decisions I make when in that state. I can’t stand up for myself often, I’m painfully shy around strangers, (although this has started to change) I have a hard time hiding my emotions from others, am physically weak, and have a hard time speaking my mind. I also have a tendency to procrastinate.
~What do you look for in a boy/girlfriend?~
Personality: He has to be kind to me, and understand my weaknesses and the pain I’ve gone through. Artistic, creative, or something like that would be nice, but it’s ot essential. He has to be intelligent, though--that is a must. A little bit of mystery would be cool, too. That’s always sexy. I don’t want him to be completely on the straight and narrow, (that’s boring) but he must have some sense of honor. He also should be strong--not physically, but in his heart.
Physical Appearance: Longish hair is awesome. Like right around his shoulders. Also, I prefer dark hair to light. His build should be tall and lean-not covered in muscle, but not wimpy either. A sexy smile is always a bonus.
~Would you rather have your boy/girlfriend be:~
Calm or Energetic: Calm, but not to an extreme. Really energetic people bother me, but so to people who don’t have any energy at all.
Brains or Brawn: I prefer brains, but it’s always nice when your guy can pick you up bridal style. ;D
Mature or Immature: Definitely mature. I hate immature people.
Controlled or Impulsive: A little of both, I guess. Self-discipline is awesome, but it’s really great to be taken by surprise once in a while.
Confident or Modest: I don’t want someone who is always boasting, but I don’t want someone completely insecure, either. Somewhere in the middle…? :D
Leader or Follower: I don’t have a preference, but I do need someone strong. Cowardice or passiveness is an instant turn-off. I need a man who will have a force of soul and the courage to back it up.
Shy or Outgoing Quiet and reserved, but not shy shy. I myself am very shy, and I want my guy to help me overcome that. Being shy himself would not help that at all.
Pessimistic or Optimistic: Optimistic. I myself am a huge pessimist, and need someone to help me see the brighter side of things.
Honest or Secretive: Overall honest, but a little bit of secrecy is sexy as all hell. ;D
~Questions~
Would you prefer someone who acts, things, etc like you or someone different from you? Pretty much the same, but not a complete clone. I could not get along with someone who is my complete opposite--I’d end up killing him before the first date was over! xD But someone completely the same is boring. A little variety is nice.
What would be the Turn Ons/Turn Offs to a Guy/Girl? Turn ons: Sexy smile, a little bit of darkness, hidden depth, and being courageous.
Turn offs: Being boring, stupidity, indecisiveness, and cruelty.
What would be your ideal first date? Drinks at a coffee house, some intelligent conversation, then maybe a slow walk through a nearby park. (Cherry blossoms tress are always an added bonus. ^^~)
What would be one crucial trait in your ideal boy/girlfriend? He has to be kind to me.
