...Oh my. The word doesn't quite fit, not in the context of what is exactly happening in the fic- but 'lovely' was nonetheless what popped into my mind.
But what an ending though! I'll just be going with the foolishly optimistic reading that fade to black doesn't necessarily mean death though ^^

Also like how the fic is placed in the recent manga arc as well-- it satisfies the part in me that wishes Ishida will get to shine more heh

(and I think I recognise you from Tenipuri-fic fandom-- had no idea you're writing Bleach now, ooh :D :D!)

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment! =3 This was.. interesting to write? I'd never written Ishida before, so I'm very glad that you enjoyed it. (I'm quite looking forward to Ishida's battles in Hueco Mundo as well.)

I think of it as an ending that's open to interpretation, myself.

Have been trawling the net a bit myself and there isn't really much Ishida fic to begin with, and when there is some then it's mostly in that hazy pre-SS or somewhere inbetween timezone. Which is great, sure, but it's really nice to see more 'recent' stuff! (Part of me is actually kind of irritated with all the new characters we're seeing now, awesome if they might be-- but the 'old cast' is already large enough and this means that all the fanwork will be 'scattered' lol)

Here's me hoping that you'll continue with writing some Ishida pieces every so often then~ :3

(You wrote Hiyoshi-centric fic right? I remembered 'cause there was so little of it and I always enjoyed yours~ Hyoutei love, whut whut ♥)

AH but enough of that! THANK YOU SO MUCH! This story was incredible. The characterization, the pacing even the attention to detail, all made this a delight to read and receive. THANK YOU SO MUCH and again I am sorry that I missed this. Haha it definitely made my day better.
