[ Apparently Ichigos are also not equipped for the cold. Even the old, shinigami ones. Berry-taichou is out, wrapped up in coat, two shawls, scarf, and gloves sweeping snow off the steps, and walk leading up to his house.
Oh, hey. Someone's out decorating for Christmas. Smiling a little as the lights appear on the tree, and - OH HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT?!
The broom falls right out of nerveless fingers to clatter against the porch while this Ichigo is too busy gaping in shock at what might just be the most unsettling doppelganger he's ever seen. ]
[FLAILING. How does he shot lights?! How do you decorate something THIS HUGE?! This thing is freakish! And what color? Blue? White? Multicolor? .... White.
Of course, the only way to really get these lights on the damn thing is to... well, run around the tree with a looooong spool of lights. He gets about a third of a way up the tree, using reishi to stay in the air before he gets tired. And dizzy from running around in circles. He lets out a huff and plops down on a reishi platform with his scarf-wrapped tail dangling off]
I didn't realize this was gonna be such a chore! I have to do this how many more times?! Sheesh. And you're talking to yourself again, Ichigo, that's real normal...
[blinks. Oh. Someone is watching him. Another... him? Well, he's (sort of) used to it by now, so all he does is give a bit of a wave down at the other-him on the porch]
[Dangerous? This derp? He couldn't "dangerous" his way out of a wet paper bag.
He blinks and derps for a moment, trying to figure out what he's talking about and twitching that tail in the process. OH WAIT. Something does feel loose. He hauls it back up and examines the three scarves he has tied around the damn thing, and the most distal scarf is about to come off]
Dammit...
[growlgrowlgrowl, tie tie tie. He ties the thing in a pretty intense knot and pulls it tight with his mouth] Stay tied, dammit! [HUFF. He then cups his hand around his mouth and calls back down] Hey, uh... thanks!
[Orihime can spot that bright hair anywhere! It's a Kurosaki-kun! But there's a... tail wrapped in scarves? None of the Ichigos she knows have tails, so at first she thinks it's someone else, but that bright hair can only belong to him.]
[unwrapping another string of lights by now... he hs one go-round of white lights on, but the tree still isn't lit very well, so he's going for a set of slightly larger white lights to accentuate. He pauses when he hears someone call his name, and then turns around, smiling a bit]
Ah, Inoue! Good timing! Do you want to help with the tree?
[It seems like him, but the skin change and all admittedly throws her off a little. Regardless, she trots over to the large tree and is ready to go at whatever needs to be put up still.]
This is a very impressive tree! Should I help with the lights?
[his smile widens! Yay! 'Hime help! He tries not to pay much attention to any weird looks he gets... it's easier just to pretend everything is normal]
No, I'm gonna finish the lights myself. Uhm... oh crap! [facepalm] I didn't wish up any ornaments! Inoue, do you think you can wish for some? Bug baubles and... all kinds of stuff! I'm not having too much luck with wishing. [he looks up at the tree and his tail just flops on the ground in defeat] Like this tree. I wished for a "Christmas tree", thinking I'd get a 10 foot one or so... [sigh]
[What. Who the hell wished for a gigantic tree?! This hollow has enough curiosity to actually go out into the cursed cold to see just... what the hell. That tree wasn't there a minute ago and he can't figure out why someone would want to do that. They must be insane.]
[Sob, it's so fucking cold. Maybe just a small look.
Nothing like using shunpo to cover the distance quicker and he stops by a normal sized tree that isn't towering, just staring at the giant random tree.]
[well, he tried wishing for it to be warmer, but it didn't work out too well. He's busy working then blinks, looking over at the weird, but familiar, Reiatsu]
... It can't be... [he jumps down from his perch and uses a quick burst of sonido to get closer, but not too close] What... what are you doing out here?
Really? Well, it's a holiday that celebrates um... some religious thing. I think. [furrows brows] But, now it's more just a holiday to celebrate being with your family and friends. [he gestures to the tree] Decorating trees like this is part of the celebration. Though uh... this one is way big.
*Hime was out walking with Mamoru, who resembles a little marshmallow puff with all the bundling up he's had. And now they're going to stop and stare in wonder at the giant Christmas tree!*
Ooooh! We should get one of those, right, Mamoru-kun?
*the little boy nods - he's pretty taken with the lights!*
[by now, Ichihollow has on all the lights and plain baubles, and is now working on applying some more fancy ornaments he wished up. Somehow. Without killing anyone. It's a miracle. He blinks down at this other Orihime and ah... Mamoru? He jumps down, landing on one foot easily
