[A wooden bokken in hand, Ru-taichou runs through the motions of a kata; feet sliding smoothly through the stances, arms swinging to strike an invisible opponent. A sharp exhale on each blow, sharpening the strike. Her singular bang is plastered to her forehead, evidence of the several hours of practice she's spent out here.

Especially the one where he's not aware that he's doing it? That little half-grin, when he believes nobody's looking at him and he drops that macho exterior.

I see that one a lot, Yuzu-chan and Karin-chan have told me I've almost got him looking over his shoulder before he does it sometimes.

[alternate realities are fun, it just makes it easier to talk about the same things some times. Not that Orihime cares, it's fun talking to one of her BFFs...or a version of one but whatever.]

[The mentioning of Ichigo's sisters brings a smile across her face at the memory of a slightly younger captain on leave in the Material World to visit his still-living family. Yuzu's brood happily crawling over their uncle, pulling at his hair curiously, begging for piggy-back rides and stories of their mother and aunt when they were young.

Ichigo didn't get to see that part of his family much, even if presents and letters were sent for birthdays and Christmas. Now, too much time has passed to be able to go visit and not raise an avalanche of questions as to why Aunt Rukia and Uncle Ichigo looked the exact same as they did almost fifty years ago.]

Its silly, not like we're going to tell anyone he's secretly a nice guy.

Yeah, it's not like everyone doesn't already know.

[Even if Ichigo tried to hide it with his face and his attitude, he was always being nice to ghosts and people, it's sort of hard to believe he's anything but a good guy.]

Mmmhm. But I suppose we can allow him some of his masculine posturing once in a while.
