[ Don't think he hasn't noticed the Queen's been without her mate, because that's one of the more interesting developments of the nexus in his estimation. Fuck the shinigami's drama, the hollows were all so intricately woven in this, their oppressively dark castle, that it would have been foolish to ignore them.

Or the way the pack chose to split up now and again, needing solitude before they congregated and re-established bonds. He saw each of them wander off and slipped through their defenses like a silent shadow, lurking in the castle uninvited, all to piss off his prey when she noticed. It wasn't easy given the load he carried in a sack over his shoulder, but it would be worth it.
