I've been kind of MIA lately (which I'll explain more in an entry soon), but YAY FOR SPAIN! This Euro Cup has honestly been pretty unpredictable. I knew Poland wouldn't get far, but I was still upset that they lost last week to Croatia ... which is why I was rooting for Croatia to lose, and was so surprised to hear that they lost to Turkey. Russia sucks. Portugal once beat Russia 7-0. Seriously. That says something yo. And yeah, it really sucks that all the underdogs are going through. My dad says it could be because the players are in bets and stuff. But yeah, it didn't really matter for me if Spain or Italy went through. I watched the penalties though, but well, after Portugal lost, I stopped caring. As long as Germany loses and somebody kills them off - so Portugal will save face or something - then I'll be happy. 8D

AGREED. Casillas is yummy, I was just afraid to say so LOL.

Germany and Turkey is going on right now and it's intense, 1-1. So let's see if you'll be happy in about an hour!!

My dad and I predict Germany will win all this year. But I pray Spain will actually do something. I rather Spain than Germany. D:

Our team played so bad against Russia, from the beginning of the game there was something in the atmosphere, the family I watched with all noticed it (uncle/aunt/cousin+fiance/cousin/5 cousins/mom) haha. But it was awesome when they did make it 1-1, my uncle and aunt live on the 5th floor of the apartment building, on the top and you could hear everyone cheering outside. I think the death of one of the players' baby, kind of hung above them, idk. Russia deserved to win, though if we'd played like we did the first 3 matches, we'd won.

I'm not rooting for Germany, that's something that's just sooo dutch, we never root for Germany lol. I'm rooting for Spain and Turkey.

Aww, I unfortunately missed the game but it sucks when you hear everybody cheering and then it's like complete silence when you realize that you didn't win.

LOL at it being "soooo dutch", we'll find out soon if Germany or Turkey won!
