So, I have a question for all my friends not living in America: Do Americans where jeans much more frequently than other people? Are jeans much more common in the USA?

In Russia and Israel, everyone was wearing jeans. Because they're a symbol of worldwide cool.

People wear jeans a lot here, but they tend to be very fitted and stylish and crap.

A lot of people wore jeans in Morocco, alongside more traditional garb. I wouldn't say there was quite as much jean-wearing as in the US, but it was there.

I haven't noticed a real difference in jeans wearing here in the UK. Perhaps the exception is that a lot of women wear things like skirts with tights.

Also women here often wear boots (particularly Ugg boots) over their jeans. It drives me nuts.

In comparison to my homeland (California) and Chicago (where I just spent a week), they do the boot thing WAY MORE over here.
