[She sees the other Rita pointing her blood-stained scalpel on the real one. No, she can't let this happen! She rushes towards the scene, intent on stopping it.]
[evil!Rita turns to the voice, a twisted grin siezing her face as she sees Katara. A flick of her hand, and the scalpel drips more blood than should be possible across the pristine floor.]
[The scalpel changes into a lit match, which the copy holds up for just a moment before flicking it in Katara's direction. It doesn't hit her; rather, it flies past and lands on the floor behind the girl. With a roar, flames flare to life in a large wall surrounding the area despite the lack of fuel.]
[ This... wasn't really like his usual dreams. His stomach churned seeing the countless people - were they dead? - still moving and screaming despite their ashen appearances. He does indeed recognise a number of those people (including himself), but their fade out of existence before he can do anything.
And after that, he doesn't need to question if they are or are not alive.
His eyes fall on Rita - two Ritas?! - and Tyr... doesn't know if it would be right or not to take action. Especially without his staff. Nevertheless, he instinctively tries to cut his way between the Royal Guard Rita and the one strapped to the table. ]
[Rita's not at all relieved to see Tyr--she watched his dead body writhe in pain earlier, and there's his head in a jar over there--no, this Tyr is just a ghost come back to haunt her for everything. But this horrific mirror image of her might still be able to do something to him; the armoured Rita is looking at him almost predatorily.
It's too late for him, but Rita fixes him with an apologetic look.]
What are you saying!? [ Right. This Rita had to be the one he knew. Or how he thought her to be. He wasn't entirely sure if Soul Eater was suddenly giving him symbolic dreams when it never had before, but he could play this dream by ear. ]
Don't apologise to me! You're not the one at fault here! [ That wave of his arm to the other Rita illustrated his point. ]
I-it was me, this--this is me, just not...[She trails off tiredly, not sure how to explain it. And Tyr's already dead, so it's not like explaining or apologizing can bring him back, anyway.
The blood-drenched knight, however, turns her full focus on him.]
Shouldn't you be dead already?
[As soon as she says that, all the specimen jars on the surrounding shelves are suddenly all full of heads--every single one of them looking just like Tyr. As one, they open their eyes and fix dead, milky-white gazes on him.]
[ She's shocked as hell at everything, but also of the mindset that I AM NOT LETTING THIS HAPPEN TO HER. 8|
So here, have an Estelle trying to get Rita out of that hold there. Maaayyybe trying to take her place, because she's totally self-sacrificing like that. Maybe. ]
Es...telle? [Rita stares at her with a mix of extreme regret, sorrow, and fear. No, Estelle's dead, there's no bringing her back. All she can do now is tell her to get out of here before--]
Child of the Full Moon, is it?
[Too late. evil!Rita has taken full interest of Estelle. With only the slightest gleam in her eyes as warning, she abruptly plunges the scalpel into the real Rita's chest, slicing open the skin and sticking her hand inside. She withdraws the bloody appendage gripping something--a heart, still pumping despite being separated from its owner.]
[Rita's mouth works silently, trying to say something, but she can't seem to get any words out. She doesn't even know how the hell she's still alive, but it just feels as though her chest as gone numb.
The other Rita, however, appraises Estelle with a raised eyebrow.]
What are you so upset about? Isn't this what you wanted? Stop whining and take it! [And she holds the bloody organ out for her.]
[...oh, what the hell!? Shing looks horrified, sickened and... perhaps even worried about the real Rita as he approaches the evil dream Rita, sword drawn and leveled at evil!Rita's throat.]
[Oh, Shing. evil!Rita's quite pleased to see him, actually, and not at all bothered by the blade. In fact, she lowers her scalpel closer to the real Rita.]

[And she will. But she doesn't know why she... can't commandeer the water around this place.]

The City's persistence is starting to get really aggravating.

You think you're qualified to handle that?
[He might just find his sword is no longer a regular sword, but a giant scalpel of his own.]

As long as it cuts, it's all I need.

[Simply taunting, smirking at him. She's not intimidated.]

Leave her alone.

And what do you think you can do if I don't?

Then I'll stop you myself.

[And she still doesn't care, pressing the blade of the scalpel to the real Rita's neck. A thin line of red appears.]
