Well, this might be useless if I'm just going to forget everything when I finally get to go home, but I don't feel like just wasting all this time. Everyone in my world is what you'll describe as nothing more than baseline human beings. Though there are a small segment of us, including myself, that have honed our bodies to the absolute peak of human physical condition or even beyond it. Also we have some intereactions with powers that tend to exist outside the scope of human reasoning like ghosts or the divine. The level of technology of my world is at the same level as this place.

In addition all the countries of my world teeter on semi-shaky alliances and the idiocy of the majority of the public is quite visible once they're gathered in mobs.

W-well yeah, but--I meant again, you know? And he was...he was really gone f-for good after that though, right?

Yeah, though there's always the possibility that he'll pop up again.

Are you serious?! If I had some freak like that after me, I'd make sure they couldn't come back!

I may be able to do many things but actually sealing a vengeful spirit is one thing that I can't do.

S-so why wouldn't you find someone who could? I mean, there's gotta be something somebody could do to it!

Maybe back in ancient times but we're in a world where more people place their faith in the material.

...Things change. If people aren't bothered by--by g-ghosts and stuff often enough, they just forget about them, or maybe they don't want to know.

But there was really nothing at all left? No hidden race that had passed down stories, or ancient books in ruins, or anything?

Folktales are where people get their information from on such subjects. And there isn't a hidden race in my world, at least there's no evidence supporting that theory.

That's it? Well that's unreliable. And I take it you didn't know any that could help--stuff like that would just get so messed up as it was passed down that most of them probably lost their original meanings.

Actually, I found out from the words of the ghost of a person that wasn't dead that only I could interact with.

You--wait...How can it be a ghost if the person's not dead?

It was confusing to me as well but I just equated it to some bastardized version of The Force.
