Today I didn't really search much. Fired off a couple of emails to some unlikely looking candidates. Spent more time worrying about the car repairs than anything else. Tomorrow I'll hit it harder.

Today I applied for a work-from-home tech support job. Normally I steer well clear of these, as one of the goals in my employment search is to get myself out of the house. A possible job?
An HR manager from IBM emailed me today with a small questionnaire. It's not an interview but it's phase 2- it means I'm in the door and somebody is paying attention. One thing they don't tell you about in the job hunting seminars is scams. Scams are everywhere for job seekers. I have a bad habit to apply for one or two likely looking places, and then sit back for a week and hope they work out. Today I found a really good position in Coffeyville, KS as the Director of Technology for a small community college. I would absolutely love to work in a college environment, as I seem to have grown up in or around academics all my life. The journal is the job, day 1
We’re back! After a multiple-year extended hiatus, this journal is being brought back to life. Yes! I have returned from my sabbaticawesome vacation to snatch this blog back from that slavering jawbeast, obscurity.
