I can't draw fuckin dreads to save my life. Which sucks, because a) they're one of my favorite hairstyles and b) I just got commissioned for a character with 'em. BETTER LEARN QUICK.

I like inking dreads with squigglies :D or like, just rapidly press hard/soft with le tablet pen and a pressure sensitive ink pen tool will be your best dreadlock buddy <3

..oh, and of course, your drawing. haha but seriously, I agree about the lighting on the face. looks like you were working in charcoal or chalk or conte crayon as opposed to on a tablet.
