I'd love you to model some and I'd gladly let you keep what you wear once the shows are done (I only plan on doing 2 for spring). I think you'll like this line.
I'd be honored to shoot your new line! I'm not sure you'd want me as a model anymore (made the mistake of buzzing my hair into a non-versatile 1" pixiecut, and I'm old in model-years), but I can definitely shoot it on some other gorgeous young thing.
Could you email me with more details (revel@aestheticalchemy.com)- themes, timeframe, etc? :D
Good for you, making the choice for more versatility/freedom in your career. And great idea to stay away from those bitchy trolls. I hope you do get on Project Runway and when you do I will cheer you every step of the way. You are amazing! I have faith in you!
Julious & I love you and adore you. We know you rock and we are happy that you're going to be surrounding yourself with more positive people and influences. I hate that people have been mean to you. I hate that people have been bitches to you. You don't deserve that at all.
This is good. I remember making a similar revelation when I decided to focus only on hats. If you make what YOU want, and make it amazing, people will salivate and chomp at the bit just to buy it.
Lolita is the absolute most stale fashion scene I have come across in a long time, and the addiction to labels is borderline comical. What's the difference between an Abercrombie girl and an Angelic Pretty girl when it all comes down to it?
You'll never be able to fight the allure of the great Japanz, no matter how awesome you are, if you stick with the lolita aesthetic. Pull from it, be inspired by it, but you have so much more potential than the ability to put a ruffle on the bottom of a skirt. Lolita = Put some bows on it. You = Awesomeness.
Ok I'm rambling... point is, this is a good move and you rock!
I'm really stoked to see what you're going to do - like Revelition said - outside the lolita box. I especially love the party dresses you've been doing. :B
