This morning Corey and I woke up and found Virginia (Miss V) dead next to her box. She'd had diarrhea for awhile, but we were giving her Kaopectate like my sister told us to. She'd been getting a bit better, but was quite lethargic and seemed exhausted. We had quarantined her because we were worried the other rats were stealing her food and not

Oh dear oh dear I am so so so sorry. That is just terrible. There is nothing good to say, I mean, there are no words of comfort because at a time like this, nothing really can help. I wish you had more time with her and I wish this wasn't so unfair. And the stupid girl who made that comment...see, people just need to give rats a chance. Honestly I didn't like them at first, but that's all based on connotations and society's impressions, but like the second I got to know Beaky you find out the truth about rats, how they have so much personality and are affectionate and curious. I honestly think they are better then all rodents now, much more friendly and nice and smart. I'm so so so sorry. If you need anything let me know. Love you.
