I've been living with my grandmother for the past month. Much more gas... but much less anxiety, though I am essentially drawing myself a little bubble of health, ignorant of my mother's. :/. I guess my real question is, assuming everyone has necessities, can there be a difference in wealth?

Without leisure there is no philosophy. So yes, if you earn just enough money to survive without enough to give yourself adequate leisure time, there is a despairing difference in the quality of life.

Hmm... leisure... I would account for that in the difference in lifestyle. I wonder if there's a large difference in hours worked between the upper and lower class.
